Add CocoaJoe Brewing Cocoa. Add 2-3 level tablespoons of your favorite CocoaJoe into the strainer per 8oz. cup. The more grounds you add, the more full-bodied your Joe will be.
Measure water. Measure a standard 8oz. cup of water.
Heat water. Bring water to a boil on stovetop or microwave. I found the hotter the better for Brewing Cocoa. Unlike Coffee, you want to apply a lot of heat to the cocoa grounds to pull as much of the butter and flavor from them as possible.
Add hot water. Immediately (and carefully) pour heated water into cup over the strainer filled with CocoaJoe.
Let it Steep. Steep ten to twelve minutes then stir again to increase body and flavor.
Pour and Enjoy! Add creamer or sweetner to fit your tastes… or just enjoy straight and savor the cocoa-y goodness!
